"Love And War" is the 9th episode of the third season of The Suite Life on Deck.

Zack and Maya are finally a couple, and Zack is surprising everyone by being a good boyfriend, but Zack soon faces his first challenge—Maya is chosen to recite a poem at Poetpalooza at the same time as an important guys video game night. Because of this, Zack has to run back and forth between events. The guys give him face paint, making Maya wonder what happened to him. Later in the episode, Maya finds out the truth. The boys do win the video game, and Maya is actually quite good. They let her play instead of Cody, making him complain that she's not a boy. Zack responds to this by saying she is more of a boy than he is.

Bailey and London help out in the playroom, much to London's dismay. The kids like London more than Bailey, making her jealous. To further add insult to injury, the children tie Bailey to a chair and coat her in sparkles, and make fun of her "jokes". Upset, Bailey decides not to help out the next day and leaves London in charge. London gets mad at the kids and starts being mean, only for Bailey to show up and turn the tables by telling the kids to go up against London.
