Coach Little is the Cheevers High School Basketball coach for the 9th grade. He is a strict, yet fair man and is adept at motivating his palyers. He is intrigued by Zack's arrogance, and that is one of the reasons why Zack stays on the bench for the majority of the first basketball game. Coach Little seems to be a very good basketball coach, even though he has not been seen to play.

Ironically, Coach Little is incredibly massive. Coach Little is a tall, bald, African-American male with a very muscular physique. His appearance can be very intimidating to others. At work, Coach Little wears tracksuit pants and muscle shirts, which show off the size of his arms.
